Families and students can choose how they want to receive school messages through ParentSquare and StudentSquare, whether that is by text, email or app notification.
If texting works best for your family, you can choose that option. When text is turned on, messages from a teacher, coach, or school can come through like a regular text message on your phone. You can read it and reply right from your phone, just like a normal text.
You can also choose whether you want messages right away or bundled into one daily digest. Your settings are up to you.

To receive school messages by text, log in to ParentSquare and make sure Text is turned on and set to Instant in your notification settings.
Once that setting is on, a message from a teacher, coach, or school can feel like a regular text conversation. You can reply as usual, without needing to open the app.
